Since its foundation the Quartet has collaborated with the most important Italian and foreign musical institutions, including the Società del Quartetto di Milano, the Società dei Concerti di Milano, the Società dei Concerti di Trieste, the Festival dei Due Mondi, the International House of Music Moscow, the Goetheanum CH, the Festival Musikdorf Ernen, etc.
The Quartet won the 39th "Abbiati - Farulli" Prize, dedicated to the best young ensemble for the year 2020, and the "Premio Sinopoli", presented directly by President Sergio Mattarella and dedicated to the best students of the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia for the year 2022. In the class of C. Fabbiano, the Quartet received a "special distinction for their exceptional chamber music skills", a recognition never before awarded in more than 80 years of the Accademia’s courses.
They have been highly rated by international juries and won prizes at the International Chamber Music Competitions "Trio di Trieste" 2019, Pinerolo 2023 and "G. Bergamo" 2024 in Lugano.
Since 2018 the Quartetto Werther has been a member of "Le Dimore del Quartetto".
In 2021 the Dutch label Brilliant Classics released the Quartet’s first CD, Fauré Piano Quartets, which received excellent reviews.
